Ladybird Class Home Learning: WB 20/4/2020

Dear Ladybird Children and Families

Here is your Home Learning Pack for the week beginning Monday 20th April 2020.

We hope you enjoy what has been set for you.

Mrs James

Focus Text: What the Ladybird Heard by Julia Donaldson

The timetable is a rough guide for how you could approach the learning challenges.

Each activity should last no longer than 30 minutes and can be broken up into smaller chunks if this is more achievable for your child.

Use the exercise books sent home in the learning pack to record your child's learning.

The most important thing is to have fun and not put too much pressure on your child.

Contacting the Teacher

To support the school and community during these difficult times, we are pleased to say Mrs James has kindly offered to extend her availability and expertise to set the home learning and respond to Ladybird family emails during the school closure.

If you have a question for her, please indicate this information clearly using the email:

EYFS@dawnay.surrey.sch.uk

IMPORTANT: Mrs James will not be available everyday, but will aim to respond to you within a reasonable timescale. Please note this may be longer than for other teachers who are still full time at the school.

If there are more urgent or general questions, please contact the office as normal:

info@dawnay.surrey.sch.uk

To make it easier for her to respond, we request that emails follow a set format with the following information:

Child's name:

Please note: If your child is on the SEND register, after Easter Mrs Hughes will be contacting you individually to discuss how to best support your child at home. However, if you have a specific question, please contact her via the main school office email address below.
