Home Learning for Week 8 (beginning 15th June) Upper Juniors

What will you create in week 8? How will you give your brain a workout?

This is the final week of our WW2 topic! To finish, we're asking you to find out all about D-Day. What was it? Why was it a turning point in the war?  How will you choose to represent key information about this important event - as a model or a map?

Other highlights this week include:

  • perform and write a poem
  • learn how to draw a realistic Emperor penguin
  • discover how to do blanket stitch and sew your own pencil case
