Lower Junior Home Learning Week 3 (WB04.05)

Welcome to Week 3 of the Summer term!

Dear Otters, Hedgehogs and Foxes, 

Here is a brief overview of this week's learning:

Maths: Year 3 – equivalent fractions and comparing fractions Year 4 – Pounds and pence and ordering money

English: Using exaggeration to describe, finding information and letter writing

Spellings: ‘ssion’ word ending

Active 5:   Text on Anglo-Saxon riddles

Science: How to protect yourself from the dangers of the sun

History: Exploring how the Vikings invaded with warriors, weapons and longships.

RE: Understanding identity in Sikhism and the 5 Ks

Music: Activity set by Mrs Wood on Charanga/Yumi platform (details on how to access have been emailed)

PSHE: e- safety

This week is slightly different to other weeks as we have a bank holiday on Friday to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE day. On Thursday, we have planned a fun day full of VE day activities you can complete with your whole family. We hope you enjoy them and please share anything you do on this day with us!
