Induction of New Year 3 children to The Dawnay School
The Governors, Staff and Senior Leadership Team are delighted to welcome you to The Dawnay School.
We want to ensure your induction to our school is as happy and smooth as possible. However due to the restrictions caused by the current COVID-19 pandemic, the induction process you experience this year will need to be a little bit different.
This year we have led with the administrative aspects first.
Attached to this page below is the 2020/21 Admission Pack and partnership agreement.
If you are new to The Dawnay, please complete and return prior to your child joining us. If you are an existing Dawnay child, you do not need to complete this document, unless your details have changed.

New Key Stage 2 Parent Information Pack and Induction
Once you have completed the admission paperwork, Please find below a covering letter for Dawnay Parents (D) and new Polesdon Lacey parents (PL). This letter can be read in conjunction with the attached presentation.
The presentation covers what you can expect when your child joins Lower Juniors in September and information about our whole school community. If you require a paper copy, please contact the school office.
Please note the date and organisation of the pupil transition day on Monday 20th July 2020.
As we have been unable to host our normal induction meeting to new Key Stage 2 parents, we have planned a Key Stage 2 information meeting for all Lower Junior parents on:
Tuesday 8th September.
The meeting will be repeated for your convenience at 3:30 pm and 7:00pm. We are planning to hold these meetings in the school hall abiding by government guidance for social distancing in education settings. Please note, if this guidance changes we will be in contact to review the organisation. Please RSVP to the school office and let us you know which meeting slot you will attend.
